Does Marco’s Have Gluten Free Pizza?
Yes! This may surprise you, but Marco’s most definitely does have gluten-free pizza. In fact, they now offer two different sizes of gluten-free pizza. Marco’s originally released a medium-sized gluten-free crust, which was then replaced late last year with a small-sized cauliflower crust (which is also gluten-free). However, many complaints were made about the change in size – and now both gluten-free options are available!
So whether you’re opting for a cauliflower crust or a regular gluten-free crust – it’s easy to enjoy Marco’s Pizza. Is Marco’s Pizza Safe For Celiacs?
As you can imagine, the workspace in takeouts such as Marco’s pizza is not large, and they often don’t have a dedicated space for making their gluten-free pizzas. While the crusts themselves are 100% gluten-free, they do make a disclaimer on their website. Their disclaimer says that “…(the pizza) is prepared in our kitchen where gluten is present. (Because of this), we cannot ensure its safety for those with celiac disease”.
For this reason, I wouldn’t recommend eating pizza from Marco’s if you have celiac disease or are super sensitive to gluten. Small kitchens can be a massive risk of cross-contact where gluten is used often, and this is definitely the case when it comes to Marco’s.
