Today we’re going to be taking a look at Mission Gluten-Free Tortilla ingredients. From Gluten-Free Original Tortilla Wraps to Almond Flour Tortillas – Mission has it all! Your new diagnosis can feel overwhelming when it’s new. This brand is a great place to start for everyday foods.
What Is Mission?
Mission Foods have been around since 1977. They make fresh and authentic Mexican products. From tortilla wraps to flatbreads, to chips, there’s so much choice. And guess what? They also offer a huge gluten-free product range. Yellow and white corn is used. Corn is naturally gluten-free, so it’s a great substitute for wheat when making tortillas.
Gluten-Free Mission Tortillas
It’s important to note that not all Mission products are gluten-free. It’s important to look at their Gluten-Free Collection and opt for ones that are gluten-free/grain-free. They are very clearly marked, which makes them easy to spot. Let’s take a look at what Mission products are gluten-free.

It’s not often we don’t have to compromise on taste when food products are made gluten-free – but we certainly don’t have to here. The Mission Gluten Free range is amazing.
The brand is certified gluten-free. This means that the products go through vigorous testing and meet strict guidelines set by the FDA to ensure that there is no gluten in their products. They are also prepared in a dedicated gluten-free facility. This is as safe as food can come for gluten intolerant individuals – so you can eat these and feel completely at ease.

Gluten-Free Tortilla Brands
Whilst Mission is the best brand out there for gluten-free tortillas – there are plenty more to choose from if you’re wanting to try something new. Let’s have a round-up of some of the best!

Rudi’s is certified gluten-free. This means that their products are as safe as they possibly can be. They have two varieties of gluten-free tortillas: plain and spinach. Their tortillas are made with a blend of sorghum flour, millet flour, quinoa flour, and teff flour. They’re made with the highest quality gluten-free ingredients. They also have a range of gluten-free breads.

BFree Gluten-Free Tortillas
BFree is a very popular gluten-free brand for tortillas. However, they offer a huge range of other gluten-free products. I’ll be looking at some of their most popular products, however, these may differ country to country. These include:
- Avocado Wraps

- High Protein Wraps
- Sweet Potato Wraps
- Quinoa and Chia Seed Wraps
You’re likely to find these in your local grocery stores.

Conclusion
As you can probably tell, where gluten-free tortillas are concerned, we are spoilt for choice! Especially when it comes to Mission Gluten Free products. A brand that tries so hard to be inclusive for all of their audience is a winner for me. Mission offers so many gluten free options – but please remember, not all Mission products are gluten-free. If you’re feeling unsure, be sure to check the labels. It will always be clearly labelled.
